New Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer lays out Ultron’s plan to destroy hope and peace

Blockbuster season is around the corner, meaning some of this year’s biggest-budget films are just starting to release their trailers, and the latest example is from Avengers: Age of Ultron. The film is supposed to follow Tony Stark, who is played by Robert Downey Jr, as he tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, but of course there would be no story without conflict, so something goes awry at one point. It is then up to the Avengers to stop the villainous Ultron, who is voiced by James Spader, from enacting his terrible plans. The trailer starts by showing Ultron, as well as his motives and goals, which we can assume involve him stripping hope from humanity and destroying peace by killing the Earth’s mightiest heroes. Stark feels responsible, because he created artificial intelligence and the Ultron program, so now he and the whole Avengers ensemble must stop Ultron. Watch the trailer to see the action unfold for yourself. Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled to premiere on 1 May in the US as the sequel to 2012’s Marvel’s The Avengers. It is produced by Marvel Studios and will be the eleventh installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
