This is so bittersweet. Obviously, we’re still upset that Zayn Malik quit One Direction, but we’re happy to hear that they’re already working on a fifth album! Harry admitted that and more in the band’s first interview since Zayn’s highly-publicized exit. One Direction may be down a member, but they’re not down and out. In the band’s first interview since Zayn Malik‘s abrupt departure on March 25, Harry Styles, 21, revealed that they’re currently working on their fifth album! “It’s very exciting to be working on our fifth album, it shows how incredible the fans have been. A huge thank you to them for everything they’ve done for us. All the love to them,” Harry told The Sun. We can’t believe the boys are already working on their fifth album. We’re so excited. Liam, 21, specifically, said that the past few weeks have been the hardest since the band formed five years ago. “It’s been a tough few weeks, probably the toughest since the band was formed five years ago. We’re gutted that Zayn chose to leave, but now after a few performances as a four piece, we’re feeling confident and are determined to carry on stronger than ever,” Liam told The Sun.
