Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, Governors Sule Lamido of Jigawa, Isa Yuguda of Bauchi, Babangida Aliyu of Niger, Gabriel Suswam of Benue and Ibrahim Shema of Katsina were all reportedly absent at a meeting between President Goodluck Jonathan and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors in Abuja yesterday.
Those who were however in attendance were Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State, Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe State, Ramalan Yero of Kaduna, Lyel Imoke, Cross River State, Seriake D!ckson, Bayelsa, Sullivan Chime of Enugu State, Jonah Jang, Plateau State, Martin Elechi of Eboyin and Idris Wada of Kogi State.
Of all those who were absent, only Gov. Ayo Fayose delivered his state to the President in the Saturday’s presidential poll.
Suswam, Lamido, Yuguda, Aliyu and Shema who lost their states also lost their senatorial elections.
